Bill Viola

Bill Viola's work was very helpful in creating the tone and also in how I edited the film. His work 'The Crossing' influenced my choice in incorporating a blue tone throughout my film. The 'martyr' film also links the illusion of Houdini's escape from the tthe straitjacket were he was often hung upside down from heights until he escaped the jackets.
