Spiral Work

I really enjoyed working on this piece because I wanted the spirals to deter the eyes which I think it did effectively, I decided to create the cone shapes because once it spiraled it would effect the audience. I kept to the black and white colour scheme because I think it works effectively especially with the varying and contorted lines. I did have trouble with the photography initially because of the reflective element of the acetate however I was able to fix it by adjusting the lighting. Moreover, Ideally hoped to develop this piece into an installation piece, therefore I would create a series of these and mount it on the wall however I was unable to develop my idea because the spirals would not spin smoothly as well as the practically idea to dsiplay this would not be ideal.
